Software Update Enabler pour Mac

Having read a bit about ML Server, I purchased ML Server, updated my backed up SL Server by installing ML client and then running the server software and everything just reconfigured like magic - absolutely painless. Kudos Apple! Now this app recognised my server again and it works for SL Machines wanting software update as well. Haven't tried it on Leopard yet but I see no reason why it shouldn't work

Finally this venerable workhorse has been devoured by a Mountain Lion. Worked fine under Lion but on upgrading to Mountian Lion, presumably because all s/w updates are done through the app store, although the software update is directed to my S/L server, it won't direct the software updates into ML. I wonder if anyone will come up with a fix?

The 'Revert to Apple' option is not working for me. It asks for for an admin password, which I then enter, I very briefly see a 'Settings saved...' message, but the server is not reverted.

This application is dead-simple to use and does the job flawlessly. I've got it installed on every Mac here in the museum. Version 2 works perfectly with Snow Leopard. The main thing I use it for is when the Snow Leopard Server's Software Update Service doesn't work (it's got some big problems) and I need to distribute important patches. One button, and presto! The client is now pointing at Apple's server.

Can't get it to work with Snow Leopard. I enter the IP address of the our server on port 8088 and it just keeps spinning and saying it's verifying server. Does the same thing when using the hostname as well.
